Czech Republic: Crime maps

Crime maps are web application for displaying crime registered by the Police of the Czech Republic and municipal police on the map of CZ. Maps for the public show offenses as an aggregation of the territory (more than 30,000 polygons), maps for municipalities offer the exact location of offenses and also basic statistical overviews. The application displays data in real time, data can also be downloaded for further use. Maps enable automated sharing of crime data between state and municipal police and thus create comprehensive overview of crime. Maps help municipalities to implement crime prevention based on evidence-based approach.
