Czech Republic Policy on Sexual crime

There is no National Plan of Action concerning sexual violence or violence against children and women in the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic doesnt have a unified approach towards sexual violence and its prevention. The national policy consists of particularly three areas.

1. Specific approaches:

• Trafficking in human beings
• Domestic violence
• Commercial sexual exploitation of children
• Priorities and procedures for promoting gender equality

2. Treatment programmes for possible/real victims and perpetrators of sexual violence

3. Involvement of various government bodies in sexual crime prevention
