“Ellen-Szer” (Anti-dote) Secondary School Youth Protection Program of the Police in Hungary
This secondary school crime prevention education program targets young people aged 15-18 with the objective of providing them with the necessary protection against deviancy and crime and help them avoid the adverse effects of addiction to alcohol and drugs.
Specially educated and selected police officers train the participants through open discussions, role play and situational games how to avoid crime and its adverse effects focusing on the abuse and misuse of alcohol and drugs, violence and aggression, deviancies and behavioural addictions, internet related crimes. Provision of ample description of police duties and activities assure the participants successful building of trust and confidence in the law enforcement authorities.
The curricula have been renewed in 2014.
