Spain: National Strategic Plan against Human Trafficking and Labour Exploitation 2021-2023

The purpose of the strategic document is twofold: on the one hand, to make the different measures that are already being implemented to prevent and prosecute trafficking in human beings more effective and operational and, on the other hand, to promote new actions that cover those spaces that have been addressed to a lesser extent or for which specific actions have not yet been defined or powers attributed to public authorities.

The plan promotes and articulates measures not only to improve the fight against this crime, but also to facilitate adequate assistance and protection for its victims, all through a mechanism of close cooperation between the different agencies of the General State Administration involved, as well as as well as specialized civil society organizations.
