The Frideborg Project

The Frideborg project is a collaboration between local public sector agencies in four Swedish municipalities aimed at preventing men’s violence against women. The project focuses on both victims and perpetrators.

One of the project’s guiding ideas is that communication and co-ordination between different agencies is essential in order to be able to deal with and prevent continued assault. The Frideborg project includes a collaboration between the social services, the prison and probation service, the police, the prosecution service, and women’s shelters.
