final conference proton

The project PROTON – financed by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme – counts a consortium of 21 partners from Europe and aims at improving existing knowledge on the process of recruitment to organized crime and terrorist networks through an innovative integration between social and computational sciences.

At the event we will have the pleasure to present our main results. It will be a great chance to discover a totally new approach on fighting organised crime and terrorist networks. In particular, you will get to know PROTON-S and PROTON Wizard, our two software tools testing the effectiveness of policies aimed at reducing recruitment to organised crime and terrorism. You will also have the opportunity to exchange with stakeholders from leading research institutions and relevant policy makers, including enforcement agencies.

Our event will finish short before the opening of the 19th Annual Conference of the European Society of Criminology, taking place in Ghent from the 18th to the 21st of September 2019.

The agenda of PROTON’s final conference is currently being finalised and the registration process will start soon. The event is free of charge.
