There are several studies focusing on school bullying. however its online version, cyberbullying, is a less researched area: it only emerged by the spreading of Internet and mobile communication technology. Even today, few programmes where tested properly. Nevertheless, online bullying requires a complex management strategy. TABBY in Internet (JLS/2009-2010/DAP/AG) is a complex action research managed through the years 2011 and 2012, with the participation of 5 European countries.

This project examined European research on cultural, contextual and risk issues in children's safe use of the internet and new media across 21 countries. All project outputs and reports are posted on the related website. Also provided is a searchable database of European research on children's experience online, best practice research FAQs and resources for researching children's internet use.

The first part of the toolbox presents an overview of the existing policies and legislative measures on the international level, with a particular focus on the EU. In the second part, we zoom in on advice provided by experts in the field of pickpocketing and/or mobile organised crime groups. The third part focusses on the good and promising practices of which some were submitted by Member States in reply to the questionnaire sent out by the EUCPN Secretariat.
