The project's aim was to assess the utilisation of commercially available face recognition systems as a search tool for the police with regard to their suitability for comparing live images with reference images in real time. The face recognition system continously extracted picture files of the faces of the persons who passed through the monitored area and compared these with the reference data.

The programs aims at promoting social and moral skills to prevent bullying and violence among children and adolescents. Bullying is a group process not only including direct offenders (bullies) and their victims but also assistants (e.g. holding the victim), reinforcers (e.g. cheering the bullies) and defenders of the victims.
