Campaign "Drugs and designer drugs kill" of an educational and preventive nature, concerns on the subject of counteraction to and prevention of addiction to drugs and designer drugs and is addressed to children and adolescents. One of the elements of the campaign is a preventive media spot (film), which aims to be disseminated among children and adolescents and refers to the dangers of addiction to drugs and designer drugs.
Considering the serious threat to life and health of new psychoactive substances, the preventive campaign will be nationwide and should reach the widest possible range of young recipients.
The program is mainly focused on social education in the area of security. The program is not a program about psychoactive substances but a program to prevent their use. The program is implemented by policemen, representatives of poviat sanitary and epidemiological stations, teachers - educators. Students registered for the project participate in a series of 6 thematic meetings. The education concern of knowledge about the effects of using new drugs. Students learn how to be assertive and defend themselves against the pressure of teenagers. The project teaches current legal liability and how to provide first aid to a person who is poisoned by a drug. Each school can take part in the next part of the project. The theater review has been part of the project for 5 years. Each school can present a performance during which it talks about the problems of youth with addiction. The best performance in the region is awarded.
The program "You have one life - don't waste the opportunity!" coordinated by the City Police Headquarters in Łódź is an integrated prevention program based on social impact strategy. The program aims to minimize the situation of violation of law by secondary school students. This goal is achieved by improving students' knowledge of social norms, threats related to demoralization, as well as increasing the awareness of recipients regarding the harmfulness of health and social problems related to the use of psychoactive and psychotropic agents. The advantage is that it can be extended with further preventive content.
