The Public Security Police (PSP) adopted the Community Policing as part of the National Strategy for Policing and develops several community policing practices, including the “65 Support - Elderly Safety”. This is an initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs created in 1999, which aims to ensure the safety and tranquility of the elderly, promote awareness of the work LAE with population and help prevent and avoid risky situations.
