This project was implemented after the opening of the checkpoint of Ledra Street, as a way to ensure police visibility for the benefit of the people who lived or worked in an important (from a historical point of view but otherwise neglected) area, as an ultimate aim to lower the fear of crime, increase the sense of quality of life but also give important messages to would be criminals aiming to lower crime in the area.
